At RICH BIT, we stand behind the quality of our electric bikes. To ensure a clear and predictable experience for our customers, we operate under the following specific return and resolution guidelines.

⏱️ 30-Day No-Reason Return

You have 30 days from the date your product is delivered to request a return without providing a specific reason.

1. 30-Day "No-Reason" Return Policy

Our 30-day "No-Reason" return policy is exclusively available for Electric Bikes (E-bikes) shipped from our European (EU) warehouses.

  • Eligibility: This policy applies only to complete E-bike units delivered within the European Union.
  • Condition: The bike must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging.
  • Exclusions: This "No-Reason" policy does not apply to orders shipped to the United States or other non-EU countries.
2. Spare Parts Policy

Please note that Spare Parts (including but not limited to throttles, batteries, and controllers) are excluded from the 30-day "No-Reason" return policy.

  • Final Sale: All spare parts sales are final unless the part is received damaged or is defective upon arrival.
  • Compatibility: It is the customer's responsibility to confirm compatibility with their specific model before purchase.
  • Returns for Parts: If a return is authorized for a spare part at our discretion, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs to our designated facility, which may be located in China.
3. International Shipping & Liability

For customers outside of the EU, please be aware of the following:

  • Return Logistics: We do not currently maintain return warehouses in the United States.
  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping for international orders (outside the EU) must be paid by the customer.
  • Force Majeure: As per our company standards, we are not responsible for delivery delays or return issues caused by factors beyond our control, such as customs delays or force majeure.

📦 ELIGIBILITY & PRODUCT CONDITION

To qualify for a full refund under our 30-day return policy, the item must be in the exact condition you received it to ensure it does not influence a second sale for us.

  • Unopened & Unused: The electric bike must not have been ridden, assembled, or removed from its original protective factory packaging.
  • Original Packaging: The product must be in its original box with all styrofoam, hardware, manuals, and accessories included.
  • Undamaged: The item must be completely free of scratches, scuffs, or any signs of wear.
Note: Any item that has been opened, used, or shows signs of assembly will not be eligible for a "no-reason" return and may only be covered under our manufacturing defect policy.

🚚 RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • For No-Reason Returns: If you are returning the product simply because you changed your mind, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping costs back to our warehouse.
  • For Defective Returns: If the item arrives damaged or has a major mechanical defect, RICH BIT will provide a prepaid return label.

 

🛡️ 1. MAJOR QUALITY DEFECTS (Eligible for Return & Full Refund)

During the specified warranty period, customers are eligible for a return and full refund if the product experiences a major quality defect that prevents the safe and normal operation of the electric bike.

  • Definition of Major Defect: This includes non-functional motors, critical battery failures, defective controllers, or structural cracks in the bicycle frame occurring under normal riding conditions.
  • Resolution: RICH BIT will provide a return shipping label and issue a full refund or a brand-new replacement unit upon receipt and inspection of the defective product.

🔧 2. MINOR DEFECTS & COSMETIC DAMAGE (Eligible for Parts & Support)

To keep our shipping efficient and eco-friendly, minor defects that do not interfere with the safe, normal mechanical operation of the bicycle are not eligible for a full return or refund. Instead, these are resolved through parts replacement and partial reimbursement.

  • Definition of Minor Defect: This includes cosmetic scratches or paint chips on the frame, missing or loose screws, or damage to consumable parts (such as tires, tubes, or brake pads) during transit.
  • Resolution: For these instances, RICH BIT will provide the necessary replacement parts free of charge, along with technical repair guidance. Depending on the severity of the cosmetic issue, a partial store credit or partial refund may be offered as a goodwill gesture.

📝 3. HOW TO FILE A CLAIM

To make the process predictable and fast, all return or defect claims must include:

  1. Your original RICH BIT order number.

  2. A clear photo or video demonstrating the defect or damage.

  3. A brief description of the issue. Please send this information directly to our support team at support@richbit.com.
